Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Program Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in overseeing the development and implementation of programs that support individuals with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, special education, and medical documentation, ensuring that all services provided align with best practices and regulatory standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate program activities, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and appropriate interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support to clients.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral therapy techniques and effective communication strategies.
- Monitor program effectiveness through regular evaluations and adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for all clients, ensuring adherence to medical terminology standards.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the organization and the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, special education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical documentation practices, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy methods.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
