Simon's Stores is Hiring an Assistant Store Manager Near South Burlington, VT
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability.
*On Target Earnings (OTE) for these cashier / sales associate positions are approximately $145 - $160 daily inclusive of hourly pay plus bonus hours worked. Pay negotiable based on experience.

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities (include but aren't limited to):
- Offering friendly & helpful customer service
- Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Vendor management, ordering, and returns
- Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed safely and effectively
- Maintaining cleanliness around the store & register
- Helping to hire, train, supervise, and schedule store associates
- Compliance with state lottery outlet requirements and the safe sale of age restricted products such as alcohol and tobacco
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assistant Store Manager Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in a retail setting, liquor store (or bar) experience preferred
- Experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Minimum education level of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in math and computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
