NOCO Basements is Hiring a Project Manager Near Fort Collins, CO
Job Description
$28 - $38 hourly
Responsibilities:- Communicate the status of the building project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports
- Oversee the work of all general contractors and their laborers and guide as necessary to ensure high-quality work
- Plan and schedule the entire construction project, including construction operations and timelines to make sure project deadlines are met
- Ensure teams work to follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues
- Calculate the cost estimate of all project tasks and accurately manage the project budget
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities and ensure construction is up to code
- Communicate and document changes to scope, timeline, material orders, or any other issues that arise with all key stakeholders
- Anticipate needs and mitigate risks
- Make informed recommendations based on common challenges
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management
- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly valued
- Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
- Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
