Engineer * Immediately report any emergency situations on site to the Senior Chief Engineer. * Respond to tenant complaints and requests for service as directed by Senior Chief Engineer. * Replace ceiling tiles, light bulbs and perform minor repairs, including door locks, plaster/painting, minor plumbing, and minor electrical work. * Paint interior and exterior surfaces. * Perform daily rounds of the Interior and Exterior perimeter. * Inspect the exterior condition of buildings and surrounding properties, including railings, entrances, benches, awnings, garage, staircase, etc.; Loading dock; Electrical fixtures. * Report any maintenance deficiencies to Senior Chief Engineer. * Check condition of sidewalks and parking lots, and report/repair per Senior Chief Engineer’s instruction. * Report daily to Senior Chief Engineer and proceed with assigned work orders. *Other Duties:* -This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. *Qualifications* * High School / General Education Diploma Preferred * Able to consistently lift, push, pull up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs * Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces * Able to lift arms above shoulder level for prolonged periods of time. * Able to walk, stand, crawl, bend or kneel for extended periods of time * Advanced ability in use of common maintenance tools, i.e., hand and power tools, etc. * Willing to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends, including availability for on-call emergencies * Ability to perform ALL duties listed above.
