SIMPLE LABORATORIES is Hiring a Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift) Near Harwood, IL

Simple Laboratories is searching for a Laboratory Technician Full time.
Working hours: 3rd Shift (9pm – 5:30 am)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lab Technician are responsible for accurately processing, analyzing and reporting laboratory results with limited supervision while maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Must understand quality control monitoring, computer applications, troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance
  • Perform a variety of routine and special laboratory procedures as authorized by the Manager or Director 
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments; record data and maintain equipment
  • Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed
  • Use universal safety precautions to protect self and co-workers from bio-hazardous materials, including blood-borne pathogens
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology or Chemistry. MLS, MLT license / certificate, ASCP/AMT.
  • Minimum of one (1) year clinical laboratory experience.
