We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Part-Time Nanny to join our family for at least the summer, with the potential to extend longer. Our family is unique and active, comprising four children: a 17-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy, an 8-year-old boy, and a 6-year-old girl. We love spending time outdoors, engaging in activities such as playing, fishing, hiking, swimming, and cooking out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and supportive care to our children, focusing on nurturing their mental and physical health.
- Manage daily activities based on the children's needs and interests, with a keen ability to accommodate the specific requirements of our 10-year-old with ADHD (Emotional Disregulation) and our 8-year-old with ARFID (Anxiety Around Food).
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary considerations and preferences are met, especially catering to anxiety around food.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning up after activities and meals.
- Run errands as needed, contributing to the smooth running of the household.
J- oin in family activities, providing an extra set of hands and integrating seamlessly with our family dynamic.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in childcare, with a strong preference for experience working with special needs children.
- Ability to stay energetic, engaged, and proactive throughout the day.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on patience, humility, and kindness.
- Flexibility in schedule, with availability primarily during mid-mornings and afternoons for 15-20 hours per week. Some Date Nights would also be appreciated:)
- A passion for outdoor activities and a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
