We are looking for a highly creative Graphic Design Intern who can assist in taking conceptual ideas and creating visual representations in print and digital media.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in design and a basic understanding of current design software. This internship will provide an opportunity to work with multiple teams at our company, allowing the intern to gain valuable experience in translating written or spoken ideas into impactful visual designs.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in branding and marketing, willing to learn how to vary styles and layouts depending on the project.

This can be an opportunity for a Part or Full-time 1-year Internship Program

Responsibilities

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with our Content Specialist for a wide range of materials, including social media, signage, external/internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials
• Help translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Develop concepts and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Support video editing requests and basic animation
• Work on various projects and media, developing innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
• Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately
• Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload

Requirements

• Experience in design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc.
• Strong interest in graphic design, with a portfolio of work or examples of projects (academic or personal)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
• Photography experience and video editing experience
