This role is 100% remote based anywhere in the United States with occasional travel. Our client is a Private Equity-Backed Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) E-Commerce company that is looking to expand their success in the B2B / Corporate market.

We’re looking for an experienced B2B sales leader who has experience selling physical, consumer products, to build out our corporate sales footprint and work with our team to deliver our exceptional product experience to companies across the country. You’ll own the entire customer prospecting funnel, from sourcing leads and networking at industry events to closing deals and working with our customer accounts and fulfillment teams to ensure a seamless ordering and delivery experience.

This is a greenfield opportunity to build out a new business and we are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, proactive, and driven and who can balance bringing new ideas to the table with executing, evaluating, reporting, and following through.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential B2B clients, including hotel chains, premium/high-end restaurants, universities, healthcare institutions, and corporate offices.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to these specific B2B markets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers (corporate interior designers/architects/project managers, facility managers/admins, etc.).
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create targeted B2B marketing materials.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product development team for continuous product enhancement.
  • Regularly monitor and report on sales performance against goals.

Qualifications:

  • Strong aptitude for self-starting.
  • Proven experience building something from X to Y. Entrepreneurial track record.
  • Experience selling physical (preferably consumer) products is required.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the decor, hospitality, furnishing or similar industries.
  • A strong network in the hospitality, restaurant, or corporate sectors is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates remarkable grit and resilience in pursuing sales goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
