Company Description

Simply Dental of Stamford is a dental practice located in Stamford, Connecticut. We are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Our team of experienced and compassionate dental professionals is committed to delivering personalized care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We strive to make a positive impact on our patients' oral health and overall well-being.

Role Description

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments and materials

- Familiarity with taking i-Tero & CT Scan

- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)

- Ensure that patients are comfortable in the dental chair

- Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years experience

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

- X-ray certification preferred

- Knowledge of Dentrix dental software systems is a plus

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for digital dentistry is a plus

- Experience with medical coding and billing is a plus

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record documentation

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Team Player

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency

- Strong organizational skills to manage patient records and maintain a clean work area

Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 31 per week
