Simply Smiles Dental is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near New York, NY

```Duties```

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Collect and process payments from patients for dental services
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about dental procedures, treatments, and insurance coverage
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

```Experience```

- Previous experience working in a dental office setting required.
- Proficiency in using dental scheduling software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix etc.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.11 - $24.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
