A prestigious and highly regarded Insurance Defense Law Firm are expanding their Insurance department and are on the lookout for an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join their firm based in Manhattan.

Within the role you will be expected to advise and represent a diverse range of insurers and corporations on an array of concentrations including but not limited to, General Liability, Construction, Labor Law, Premises Liability and Property Damage. The role will be challenging yet highly rewarding enabling you to involve yourself on high-quality matters among a team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and draft coverage recommendations/ opinions
• Analyze insurance policies and identify coverage and liability concerns
• Draft pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and other legal documentation
• Conduct and defend depositions, draft and negotiate settlements and handling appeals
• Manage a high volume workload in a fast paced environment

Qualifications:

• J.D. Obtained from an accredited Law School
• Admitted to practice in New York, and ideally New Jersey
• 3 Years experience within Insurance Coverage and Insurance Litigation
• Experience litigating in Federal and State Court
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong organisation and time-management
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and meet key deadlines
• Detail orientated and strong analytical skills
