Our client, a prestigious, top-tier law firm in New York City, is seeking an experienced Employment & Labor Associate to join their dynamic team. The firm is known for its sophisticated practice, high-profile clientele, and commitment to professional growth.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience handling employment and labor law matters, including counseling, litigation, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases in a fast-paced environment, advising employers on a broad spectrum of issues, including discrimination, wage and hour, workplace policies, and union matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in state and federal court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies in employment-related litigation.
• Provide legal counsel on employment law matters, including employee relations, internal investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements, including non-compete, non-solicitation, and severance agreements.
• Assist with training and policy development on employment best practices.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-stakes matters and provide strategic advice to clients.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active member of the New York State Bar.
• 3-7 years of employment and labor law experience, preferably at a law firm.
• Strong litigation skills, including experience drafting motions and handling depositions.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
