Title: Litigation Attorney (Real Estate)

Salary: $185,000 - $275,000

Location: Battery Park area, Manhattan, NY.

A New York City-based real estate law firm is seeking a trial attorney to join its Landlord-Tenant practice group. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in landlord-tenant resolution. Required skills include drafting predicate notices, pleadings, motions, complex settlement agreements, and conducting depositions. Strong negotiating skills and excellent computer and research skills are essential.

This firm is recognized as one of New York’s premier real estate litigation firms, having participated in and prevailed in many significant New York real estate cases. Their successes are documented in numerous published and unpublished decisions on novel legal issues. The firm’s achievements have earned them the highest honors and awards from the bar and ranking organizations.

By uniting many of the best real estate attorneys of this generation, the firm has become one of New York’s most prominent real estate law firms. Their sole focus on real estate law and selective approach to cases ensure they are among the best in the field. The firm has achieved groundbreaking results in the courtroom, boardroom, at the closing table, and in legislative bodies, showcasing their talented legal advocacy.

The firm offers a competitive compensation system, with each attorney receiving one-third of the hours billed and collected by the firm, plus a 20% bonus for introducing new clients. If the one-third revenue share exceeds the advance compensation, the difference is paid as a bonus.

Attorneys also earn additional revenue based on the business they bring in, with a percentage (20%) of new business on top of their regular compensation.
