The 329/330/336/349 Excavator operates or tends machinery equipped buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Operates construction equipment, such as, power shovels, trench-digging machines, bulldozers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 329/330/336 excavators in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Ensure work area is safe and free of hazards.
• Communicate with other team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of excavation techniques and equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license

Physical Demands

The 329/330/336 Excavator Equipment Operator must be able to:

• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time.
• Work in all weather conditions
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive motions.

Work Environment

The 329/330/336 Excavator Equipment Operator will work in a construction environment and will be exposed to:

• Loud noises
• Dust and dirt
• Heavy machinery
• Uneven terrain
