Program Manager-Workforce Development Job Opening The Program Manager-Workforce Development (PM-WD) oversees the development and implementation of a variety of current and emerging workforce development initiatives for community health workers (CHWs), similar workforces and broader population health careers.
Position Requirements (including but not limited to)
• Strong evaluation and data management skills.
• Solid experience managing workforce development programs, grants, or initiatives, including outcomes.
• Strong business acumen and project management skills with an ability to manage and grow industry relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve conflicts and provide clear direction.
• Experience developing training curriculum and facilitating training sessions.
• Ability to supervise staff in the completion of multiple projects within a tight budget and time constraints.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial and health equity.
• Familiarity with virtual applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Google Suite, etc. Education
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in public health or a related field and at least 2 years of workforce development experience, preferably in a health care or public health setting, community-based organization or workforce development institution working with communities to improve health and well-being ORBachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
