Tariffs and Pricing Specialist

Singapore Airlines’ Americas is looking for a full-time Tariffs and Pricing Specialist to join the Regional Sales Planning and Fare Management team. The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience and subject-matter knowledge to support the fare management team, whose main function is owning the technical aspects of pricing processes and distributing fare products to grow revenue. The team oversees maintenance of local pricing in ATPCO, owns pricing audit processes and supports implementation of commercial initiatives driven by Sales, Marketing and Sales Planning.

Job Functions

• File and code public and private fares, rules, routings, footnotes, etc. in ATPCO
• Distribute filed fares and tariffs via ATPCO to ARC/BSP agents, designated agencies/office IDs, and direct channels
• Perform fare accuracy checks in GDS/distributed channels
• Review and investigate pricing issues, liaise with appropriate parties for resolutions
• Provide technical direction and recommendations for effective implementation of pricing initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, aviation management, business or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fare distribution or airline pricing-related field with day-to-day usage of ATPCO
• International travel industry knowledge required
• Familiar with Amadeus, Sabre and/or other GDS entries
• Understanding of New Distribution Capability (NDC) standard and its implications on fare filing
• Knowledge of the overall airline pricing rules and guidelines, published and private
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willing to learn new functions, systems, and programs as deemed necessary for role development and departmental growth
• Ability to multi-task and deliver against deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel
