Position Summary

The focus of the Quality of the product flowing through the line as well as the quality of all processes related to the line.

Position Description

• Make sure all product falls within specification.
• Must understand the requirements in each step of the assembly line.
• Monitor all portions of the production line for quality conformance.
• Communicate with operators as well as management to correct any issues
• Other duties as assigned

Approval

Team determines need, Human Resources will facilitate the process and select candidates, Controller will verify budget for the position. The positions direct manager will also be part of the interviewing and decision-making process as well as a possible peer.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required or combination of applicable education and experience
• 2 years’ experience in quality control preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
• Able to lift 10 pounds occasionally without restriction

Work Environment : Primary work is conducted on the manufacturing floor. Plant is not climate controlled. Will include moderate lifting. Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
