This is an excellent opportunity for Medical Assistant who is looking for a full time position, Monday - Friday. This individual must be a self-starter, multitask oriented, motivated, must be able to work in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure.
Provide briefing of each patient prior to physician entering the exam room.
Room patients in an efficient manner to maximize clinical-flow, triage patients, take vital signs send medications electronically to pharmacy and enter required information into the patient’s EHR account (i.e. Chief Compliant, Patient’s Clipboard, Medication List, Allergies etc.
Requirements
Medical assistant certification.
HANDS ON Medical Assistant experience. Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong Written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians and team members. MUST have EMR experience. Must be current with your certification.
Bilingual: Spanish/English is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
