• Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house 
• Thoroughly understand and adhere to all established credit, check cashing, cash handling and inventory control policies and procedures. 
• Responsible for taking detailed and accurate reservations over the telephone and the subsequent filing and typing process
• Provide superior hospitality and service. Ensure an easy and satisfying guest reservation, check-in and check-out process.
• Explain and provide any promotional items to each guest checking in
• Perform all guest accounting functions, according to established hotel operating procedures.
• Verify all guest and house accounts are complete and accurate.
• Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met 
• Prepare reports, as requested, to develop a more informative database for improved management decision-making and critical evaluation of work activities
• Perform all guest accounting functions, according to hotel standards, when posting transactions and balancing an audit.
• Maintain all areas of the front desk
• Maintain exterior entrances during shift.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner 

• High School diploma/GED required 
• Previous experience in hospitality preferred 
• Customer service experience required 
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts 
• Attention to detail and organized
