- Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house
- Efficiently and accurately complete night audit, per manual.
- Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
- Promptly, courteously, and consistently handle all calls. Accurately record guest and office messages.
- Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
- Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported
- Maintain all areas of the front desk
- Record reservations accurately and completely. Have a thorough understanding of rates. Confirm guest reservations.
- Verify all account postings and balances. Include all revenue centers such as restaurant, phone, and pay movies.
- Prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma/GED required
- Previous experience in hospitality preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts
- Attention to detail and organized
