Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment with precision and care
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Upsell products and promote cafe offerings
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service
Experience:
- Prior experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong sales skills to promote products and increase revenue
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with patrons in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Experience in the food service industry with an understanding of food preparation techniques
- Passion for the food industry and willingness to learn new skills
