Job Description

We are seeking a full-time estimator to grow with our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, keen attention to detail, accuracy and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to take direction well and think clearly under pressure. Very strong organizational and communication skills verbal/written and the ability to managemultiple priorities and deadlines in our fast-paced environment are a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform estimating responsibilities under the supervision of a Sr. Project Manager. Thorough knowledge and understanding of substrates, finishing processes, purchasing, and printing is required.
• Learn and understand production requirements, with the ability to concisely explain production and design requirements to our production staff members.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities; detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Four (4) years’ experience in business, including two (2) years’ experience in project management and/or coordination and working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional business solutions
• Experience within the Print industry and familiarity with an MIS system such as Printers Plan/Print Smith a plus, willing to train the right candidate
• Familiarity with Digital, Offset and/or Large Format Printing equipment a plus; experience in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment required
• High energy with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative thinker with a professional attitude
• Ability to take proper initiative and follow-though with projects
