Summary:

Experienced professional with over 5 years of experience in supporting Generation/Energy Management Systems, including expertise in SCADA communication protocols, system integrations, and operational technology. Adept in managing Windows Server configurations and ensuring compliance with NERC and CIP requirements. Proven ability to provide on-call support and collaborate effectively across complex business environments.

Skills and Experience:

• Energy Management Systems Support : Over 5 years of experience supporting Generation/Energy Management Systems.
• SCADA Communication Protocols : Proficient in ICCP, DNP3.0, Modbus, etc.
• Windows Server Management : Skilled in managing server configurations, applying security patches, and handling server applications.
• Operational Technology Systems : Extensive knowledge in the implementation, system integrations, and software development of OT systems.
• ERCOT QSE Operations : Strong understanding of ERCOT Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) operations and managing portfolios of generating resources.
• On-Call Support : Capable of providing on-call support for production systems outside of normal working hours.
• Regulatory Compliance : Knowledgeable in North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements.
• Service Delivery Methods : Demonstrable knowledge in applying modern Service Delivery methods like Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to traditional ITIL practices.
• Communication and Emotional Intelligence : Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, capable of operating across complex business environments and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• OSI Monarch and PI Historian Systems : Experience with OSI Monarch systems and PI Historian.
• Programming Languages : Broader development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, .NET, C/C , Java).
• Collaborative Contribution : Broad experience in contributing to design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of services and solutions.
• Organizational Skills : Strong organizational, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
• Strategic and Tactical Balance: Ability to balance strategic and tactical concerns, applying good judgment to decisions.
