How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Manager, Automotive Partnerships will be responsible for identifying business development strategies and cultivating partnerships to increase SiriusXM radio trials on previously owned vehicles in the private party, vehicle service/repair and other channels. Responsibilities include discovering opportunities to collaborate with strategic partners/companies, develop and executing targeted pitches, managing the contract process, onboarding activities, and performance and account management.

The Automotive Remarketing group plays a vital role in SiriusXM's subscriber growth and the position requires business insight and strategic development on every project to meet goals. The Senior Manager, Automotive Partnerships will also collaborate with key stakeholders at industry events, traveling as needed.

What you'll do:

  • Grow SiriusXM's subscriber base through strategic partnerships aimed at facilitating SiriusXM's ability to provide vehicle owners with trials and subscriptions to the SiriusXM service.
  • Identify, build and develop new business partnership opportunities within the private party vehicle purchase, vehicle repair/service and other channels.
  • Generate and manage partnership pipeline through prospecting opportunities.
  • Identify strategic targets and business partnership opportunities within the vehicle service, private party purchase and other channels. Cultivate relationships and deliver compelling calls and presentations to introduce SiriusXM partnership benefits and value proposition.
  • Research vehicle repair/service and private party vehicle purchase industries to identify opportunities to partner with auto service providers including regional and national franchise brands to extend free SiriusXM trials.
  • Lead contract negotiation and program launch activities with new partners, ensuring plans are executed on time and meet objectives.
  • Manage new and existing Automotive Remarketing programs designed to expose new owners of pre-owned vehicles to SiriusXM programming and grow SiriusXM's subscriber base.
  • Act as primary Auto Remarketing liaison to designated partners and provide overall account management.
  • Monitor and report on performance and suggest improvements and alternative approaches based on quantitative results and qualitative feedback.
  • Partner with Marketing to create and implement promotional elements necessary to drive program growth including digital marketing, print advertising, direct mail, collateral/POS, training, and event marketing, with contributions to strategy as well as tactical implementation.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Field Teams and peers in developing, analyzing, and recommending strategic and tactical changes on the program.
  • Ongoing account management including partner communications, performance metrics and analytics, invoices and payments.
  • Assist in creating and managing performance budget, goals, and forecasting.
  • Provide Status reports and analytics on a timely basis.
  • Participate in team status meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • 7 years of professional experience in the automotive sector with vehicle repair franchise/supplier, an OEM, dealer or other automotive company
  • Experience leading complex projects and/or working with cross functional groups
  • Sales, new business development and/or corporate business experience in the areas of product sales or marketing or B2B sales.
  • An aptitude for technology, business operations and program management
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding business development performance. Self-directed and motivated to deliver results.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic organization and lead projects with autonomy.
  • Strong blend of business development with sales and marketing experience.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with a results-driven attitude
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Business travel as required; may include weekend events (domestic only).
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
