Software Engineer - (employer: Sirius XM Radio Inc.; job location: Lawrenceville, NJ) - Build and deliver software-based services on our connected car software platform, helping transform the existing platform from an on-premise, monolithic, closed architecture system to a modern, open, microservices, cloud-based system. Work with software development team in an agile environment, and help create, extend, and maintain the core of the connected car software platform. Adhere to rules established to enforce test-driven/behavior-driven development by maintaining wiki pages, code styles, and code group/peer reviews. Develop, maintain, and debug cloud-based microservice APIs. Troubleshoot pre-and post-production issues in multiple development languages and platforms. Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Computer Engineering plus three years of experience in the offered position or as software developer or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Computer Engineering plus five years of post-Bachelor's progressive experience in the offered position or as software developer.
