Sisters of Charity Health System is Hiring a SCCFF - Data and Quality Manager Near Columbia, SC

The SC Center for Fathers and Families (Center) is recruiting for a full-time Data and Quality Manager. The Center is a faith-based nonprofit organization that works to end father absence through educational programming, wraparound services, research, and advocacy. Our Center office is located in Columbia, SC, and we have a network of five fatherhood organizations across the state.
What Would I Do Every Day?
The Data and Quality Manager (DQM) is a member of a team of committed professionals working together to provide customized services to fathers to increase their ability to meet their relational, social, emotional, and financial responsibilities to their children and family. This involves communication and coordination of services with the programming team along with other team members to help fathers achieve programmatic and personal objectives.
The DQM monitors data collection and systematic review of data to mark organizational progress across projects. This position serves as a part of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Team which develops processes for review that are used to improve data collection and program effectiveness. In addition to reviewing and monitoring data entry processes, the DQM ensures that timely corrections are made.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor statewide data collection of local fatherhood programs.
  • Monitor internal/external performance targets and ensure that desired outcomes are achieved and properly documented.
  • Utilize information obtained through the observation of data, systematic processes, and procedures, along with the extraction of data from multiple data management systems to suggest plans for the improvement of programmatic operations, procedures, and outcomes.
  • Develop forms and records to document programming activities.
  • Create files to ensure that all program information is appropriately documented and secured.
  • Report the effective, timely and reliable collection of all data points collected through data management systems. Collaborate with all fatherhood Data and Quality Managers to ensure this takes place.
  • Serve on the CQI team and offer ongoing feedback on data trends; use analysis to make regular recommendations to programming team. Work with the CQI team to plan and implement CQI efforts in local fatherhood programs.
  • Skilled in data management, cleaning, and analysis using Excel or similar software.
  • Monitor multiple data management systems for completeness, accuracy, and clarity.
Minimum Educational & Skills Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree with coursework in social work, computer science, or business preferred, along with a minimum of four years of planning and/or management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Report writing, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Some evenings, weekends, and travel are required.
This is a full-time on-site position. Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000
