Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Essential Functions:

We seek a detail-oriented, thorough, organized Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. You will manage projects and teams across multiple jobs providing customer services in this position. Ensure the project is completed according to customers' mutually agreed upon timeline and SiteWise LLC policies and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Establish, Lead and Execute the Project Management Function at SiteWise
  • Help refine current processes and information flows
  • Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimates
  • Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors
  • Develop construction project with architect, engineers, and trade workers
  • Provide internal reporting and projections for inventory
  • Oversee construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met
  • Perform the tasks of a cost estimator and review estimates produced by others
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Review bid documents, site conditions, plans and specifications; prepare takeoffs; obtain subcontractor and material quotes; seek potential cost savings; develop pricing for proposed work; review bids and collaborate on final bid adjustments; and submit bids to owners
  • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate close-out documents
  • Attend Customer deployment meetings to provide customers with comprehensive job status reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships and collaborate with engineers, owners, municipalities, clients, subcontractors, and co-workers
  • Prepare and schedule turnover meetings and documents to ensure that operations teams understand the entire scope of work, budgets, productions and schedule prior to the start of the project
  • Projects are located throughout the US and must be willing to travel as needed to be successful (estimated 50%)

  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) with two to three years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience working with underground utilities desired
  • PMP Certification Required
  • Five years (5) experience as a project manager or in a similar position in utility management
  • Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
  • Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
