Hello, we are looking for an occasional babysitter for our two children (boy 7yrs old and girl 5 yrs old). The boy is on the Autism Spectrum but is high functioning, so he is verbal and able to dress self and do most tasks. He requires guidance and reminders but is physically capable of most things. He is easily frustrated and has meltdowns/outbursts. He needs someone who is willing to be stern with him or who has experience with kids with behavioral issues. The 5 yr old girl is very shy and takes a while to warm up to adults. We are looking for someone who is maybe willing to be become a certified Respite Care provider for our family through the Navy. We would start by paying you and getting to know you but if everything works out we would be interested in getting you registered through Childcare Aware as a respite provider for our family. The Navy would then pay you for providing care to our family (this can be discussed). Military base access is a plus.
