Job Summary: Prepare, operate, and oversee the daily operation of Entertainment venues, shows, and events. Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintain overall Theatre and stage cleanliness in a safe and efficient manner Support and promote a Guest First philosophy Clearly communicate general information and direction to team members and Guests Assist team members and guests in problem solving Ensure consistent inventory and maintenance of theatre equipment. Perform light and sound checks daily, troubleshoot, and be able to change lamps and/or microphones Help cast, crew, and ushers daily to maintain top quality shows and performances Ensure all aspects of theatre is prepped and in operational order for each performance Operate and maintain the technical equipment used for the show Monitor audio signals and adjust microphones if needed Keep up on inventory and maintenance of theatre equipment Perform light and sound checks daily, troubleshoot, and be able to change lamps and/or microphones Meet and greet guests in a friendly and positive manner at all times Assist in training new team members on operating procedures Complete reports, maintenance reports and training records as necessary Ensure that all employees adhere to the set schedules, including clocking in/out for shifts and breaks Ensure all shows begin promptly on time Must adhere to the grooming code Develop prompt book/appropriate paperwork to run show by opening day of show Assists with tasks in the park or venue as needed or deemed necessary Must assist with washing and drying costumes daily as scheduled Skills And QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Must maintain a positive attitude and working environment Must be able to cooperate well with other management staff Must be able to comply with Six Flags policies, including all safety and leadership standards Must be willing to train crew members Must be willing to work without a crew Must be able to handle stress. Must have the ability to prioritize Be willing to give disciplinary action when needed Must be able to trouble shoot problems and identify solutions Must be able to work at heights exceeding 50 ft. Must be able to handle confidential information Must have strong work ethics and communication skills Must be self-sufficient Must be able to work in all weather conditions including heat, rain, wind, snow, cold and storms Must have good leadership skills, be trustworthy and work well with other team members Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays Other: Requires additional interview
