Six Flags, Inc. is Hiring a Project Management (Construction) Internship Near Jackson, NJ
Project Management (Construction) InternProject Management (Construction) Interns will be working to bring thrills to life here at Six Flags Great Adventure Resort! Through this internship, you will gain quality insight and hands-on experience as you assist in projects from their initial design to completion. Our main focus is to create, maintain, and enhance the guests’ experience as they visit our parks. As a Project Management Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting our team with the realization of these goals. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist project managers and site supervisors in coordinating and executing construction projects.
Collaborate with team members, contractors, suppliers, state departments, fire officials, and municipalities to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the construction process.
Assist in maintaining budgets and budgetary constraints by monitoring project-related expenditures.
Schedule preparation and budget planning for various assigned projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is conducted in compliance with established safety guidelines and regulations. Report any potential safety hazards or concerns promptly.
Process permitting paperwork to respective agencies to ensure project timeliness.
Qualities Of a Successful Intern
Must possess above average communication skills.
Must have the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Must possess advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, Publisher, Outlook
Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
Must be highly organized.
Knowledge of the park or previous theme park experience is a plus.
Internship Eligibility
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
Must be able to pass a thorough background screen including criminal background and credit history checks.
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day.
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs consistently and over various surfaces in all types of weather conditions.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
