Six Flags, Inc. is Hiring a Resort Accommodations Supervisor Near Jackson, NJ

This position is responsible for overseeing all accommodations of the Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa while ensuring the overall efficiency of the operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review all operating policies and procedures on a continuous basis to insure safety, efficiency and guest satisfaction. Coordinate with Human Resources on the hiring, orientation, training, and placement of personnel. Regulate and assist in auditing all accommodations procedures to maximize ability to generate operating profit. Interpret and enforce all park and corporate policies as set forth by Great Adventure. Ensure that training is implemented properly and all HR and training documentation is complete. Coordinate with all departments to ensure efficiency and cross utilization of staff. Oversee Audit Procedures to ensure proper postings and that scheduled reports are correct and forwarded to Finance each evening. Review Scheduling for all areas, reviewing all personnel break times and ensure that all Federal and State labor laws regarding minors are adhered to while adhering to budget guidelines. Continually strive for quality service and guest satisfaction. Follow up or delegate all complaints for follow up and tracking & approving compensation as well. Monitor and approve purchases while adhering to budget, generating POs and follow up on deliveries and coding invoices for payment. Coordinate efforts of the Hotel Maintenance team to ensure corrective action. Manager on Duty shifts each week as needed working all shifts each week. Perform other duties appropriate to the area of responsibility as deemed necessary by the Director of Accommodations. Review Payroll processing and audit EAS Assist in forecasting weekly levels Operate and oversee Desk (Glamping Area), Drivers/Bellhop, and Resort Services. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of five years Hotel Management experience preferred. A BA/BS degree in Business Management or related discipline preferred. Strong management and communication skills. Strong administrative skills including organization, budget control, scheduling and computer literacy. Excellent motivational, leadership and team building skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, working 50 hours per week in season.
