We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic about working with precious stones and ensuring our customers receive top-quality repairs.
Responsibilities
  • Pulling diamonds and gemstones for repairs with precision and care.
  • Shipping stones to be specially cut to stone cutter, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
  • Communicating effectively with our Operations Manager to meet efficiency goals.
  • Accurately reporting stone weights and costs for inventory management.
  • Utilizing the DiaSpark system to report supplied stones accurately.
  • Handling shipping and receiving of repairs from vendors, meticulously checking size and match of stones supplied.
  • Efficiently processing customer repairs with attention to detail.
  • Collaborating daily with Repair Support, Receiving, Diamond Vault, and vendors.
Key Duties
  • Ensuring the accuracy of stone inventory records.
  • Placing orders for diamonds and gemstones as required to maintain inventory levels.
  • Selecting stones from inventory to meet repair specifications.
  • Conducting jewelry appraisals for clients when necessary.
  • Identifying and measuring various gemstones and diamonds accurately.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfortable with technology.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory efficiently.
  • Ability to grade diamonds and gemstones accurately.
  • Capability to test metals and stones for quality assessment.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in gemstone handling and repair processes.
  • Preferred: Graduate Gemologist degree or equivalent certification, showcasing advanced knowledge and understanding of gemstones.
