Account Manager (Beauty, Bath & Wellness Organization – NYC/Hybrid Based)
Target compensation is $75,000-$85,000 bonus
Our client has been an industry and innovator in the world of bath, beauty, and wellness for over 50 years.
They are seeking an Account Manager who will be based remote initially, and eventually transition to a hybrid schedule in NYC once this organization opens a NYC office in the next few months. We are looking for a an Account Manager with a burning desire to develop and grow a portfolio of brands.
Experience working with either Off-Price, Mass or Drug/Specialty retailers would be a plus.
As a sales account manager, you will play a key role in supporting and managing sales strategies and retail relationships. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners, helping to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts to expand product and brand presence, achieving targeted sales goals.
• Achieve and track sales targets and volume growth, ensuring alignment with key account financial objectives.
• Engage, manage, and challenge new and established brokers, guiding and directing them to meet their sales goals effectively.
• Develop creative ways to engage audiences and boost brand visibility.
• Manage and maintain various sales platforms, coordinating closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
• Support the ongoing improvement of sales processes to increase efficiency, boost productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support efforts to enhance customer service by improving communication and coordination with supply chain, operations, and customer care teams.
• Actively seek and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business to expand market presence and drive revenue.
• Prepare sales reports and analytics on accounts and transactions. Strong understanding of financials and ability to analyze figures to determine profitability, sales trends, and other analytics.
• Attend and represent the company at tradeshows as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business-related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in customer accounts management, sales or buyer role. Preferably in the beauty, bath, health and retail industry.
• Experience with off-price and specialty beauty and wellness products, is preferred.
• Understanding of general sales and account management principles.
• Familiarity with MS Office, specifically Microsoft excel.
