Skeleton Key is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales & Executive Assistant
Job DescriptionIdeal Candidate: Experience selling software licensing or hosting services B2B (not as the primary offering, but to support our services). We seek a full-time Inside Sales and Executive Assistant to join our team. This role will work directly with the founder, supporting software licensing and hosting sales and managing licensing and hosting renewals. Our clients buy these ancillary items to support our primary offerings: consulting and custom application development. Candidates with software/hardware sales experience are preferred. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
This role will start 100% in the office; however, after the first six (6) months, we will consider a hybrid WFH arrangement. Working hours are CST business hours.
What You Will Be Doing
Takes available reseller training
Manages and processes software licensing sales
Manages and processes hosting sales
Sends out renewal reminders
Generates quotes
Updates channel vendor portals for deal registration
Occasionally routes inbound requests for sales or service to the right internal contact
Curates Account and Contact information in the CRM (HubSpot)
Helps to maintain organized filing systems in Microsoft Teams
Support to the CEO in other sales and simple marketing activity as requested
Handles assorted scheduling, purchasing, and vendor management requests on behalf of the CEO
Supports scheduling for special events (e.g., staff conferences and meetups)
What You Bring To The Table
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Previous experience in being an executive assistant and inside sales
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with little supervision and to present yourself professionally
Ability to manage multiple projects while coordinating with internal teams to stay on track
Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
Rigorously punctual (we start Mondays @ 8:30 AM CT and all other days @ 9:00 AM CT, sharp)
Icing On The Cake
Comfortable working in and leveraging HubSpot for deals and tasks
Familiarity with EOS (we run on it)
