Job DescriptionThe Sales Hunter / Account Executive will focus on building relationships with potential clients and converting them to clients as their needs dictate. Our successful candidate will be comfortable opening doors with key stakeholders within SMB and mid-market prospects in the St. Louis market and Nationwide. Primary duties include researching target clients, prospecting, and networking to generate meaningful connections and leads. Being adept at leveraging the knowledge of service offerings to demonstrate our value to potential clients is a must-have skill. What You Will Be Doing
Serve as first contact for new inbound leads
Own the new business pipeline and partner with the Account Management team for long-term client retention
Create and maintain a database of prospective clients and a pipeline of opportunities using HubSpot
Hunt and develop new business via outbound prospecting
Client Size: SMB/Mid-Market/Divisions within Large Enterprise
Target titles: Directors, VPs, Owners, General Managers
Schedule first client meeting, lead second client meeting with Sales Engineer, create proposals, and support the close of new business
Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3 years of demonstrated success in B2B sales
Experience selling consulting and technology-related services
Comfortable cultivating new client relationships through conventional and creative mediums (phone, email, social media, local associations, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Strong relationship-building skills and outgoing personality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and Windows platform (noting we use MacBooks as our workstations, so come prepared or prepared to learn quickly).
Desired Results
Develop a top target company list (i.e., top 100 prospects based on ICP)
Schedule 5 sales-qualified meetings per week/20 appointments per month for the Sales Engineer to help win @ 35%
Icing on the Cake
Comfortable working with and leveraging HubSpot to manage sales activity and tasks.
Familiarity with EOS (we run on it).
A sense of humor.
