Responsibilities:
Management of special and public funds according to internal and external guidelines, investment styles, performance and risk specifications
Collaboration with external consultants (investment advisors)
Independent implementation of the BayernInvest investment strategy and investment advice in multi-asset special funds
Portfolio management through the use of derivative financial market instruments, listed and OTC
Preparation of investment cases and implementation of due diligence and monitoring of alternative investments
Creation and implementation of presentations for customers and business partners
Preparation and participation in investment committee meetings
Skills & Qualifications:
Completed degree in economics or mathematics or science or comparable qualification, ideally with further specific additional qualification (CFA, DVFA, CEFA, CAIA etc.)
Initial experience in fund and manager selection, especially in the area of __alternative investments is an advantage (real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private debt, etc.)
Knowledge and experience in the management of alternative investments is an advantage (due diligence and monitoring)
Good knowledge of modern capital market and portfolio theory
Very good IT user knowledge (MS Office, especially Excel, databases, financial market-specific information systems)
Fluent German and English in writing and speaking
Willingness to perform, convincing appearance, decisive and responsible action
Service and team-oriented attitude
