We are currently seeking a Cook for our nursing home - AM / Morning position.The ideal candidate will meal prep, assist in serving, and clean-up.

This includes but is not limited to setting tables, taking orders from residents, and ensuring that the dining area remains clean and organized.

All candidates must possess a Serve Safe certification and be willing to follow all guidelines from the Department of Health.

Responsibilities include :

Preparing and serving meals according to the dietary needs of our residents

Ensuring that all food is served at the appropriate temperature

Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area

Assisting with inventory and ordering of food and supplies

Providing excellent customer service to our residents

Monitors expenses and revenues of the Food Service Department to achieve the financial goals of the facility.

Demonstrates practical management / leadership skills in the area of primary responsibility and in all facility activities.

Supervises department manager and support staff to provide quality food services by a satisfied staff in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements :

Provides a quality Food Service Program assuring that residents are satisfied, their nutritional needs are met, and an efficient operation is maintained.
