Job Description
Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring a Civil Construction Foreman in Richmond, VA. As a Civil Construction Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of civil infrastructure projects. Main responsbilities will include supervising laborers, monitoring work progress, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will also be responsible for coordinating with others to ensure project deadlines are met.
Civil Construction Foreman Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of laborers and contractors on site
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality work
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials, and labor hours
- Identify and address any issues or problems that may arise during construction
Civil Construction Foreman Qualifications
- 3 years in civil construction
- Valid Drivers License and your own transportation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to read blueprints and drawings
Job-Type:
- Temporary to Permanent
- Monday - Friday
- $26 - $28 per hour based on skillset and experience
