Job Description
Under the direction of the Associate Director of People Operations, the Coordinator will assist the People Operations and Appointments team in cross-functional tasks and respond to community requests with a customer service-based approach. The team works in collaboration with the Office of Academic Affairs, Sponsored Research, Procurement, Recruiting, Payroll and many other administrative teams as well as supports requests across the institutional labs. This role includes direct front line customer service assistance to current and incoming Broadies as well as standard Human Resources functional task completion requiring high levels of organization, attention to detail, empathy, and written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to independently prioritize tasks while being confident in raising questions to the team at large when they are unsure about a request. We strive to be a high-performing operational team, but make sure to approach the day to day with grace and humor. The Broad is a complex environment requiring flexibility, patience, and the ability to collaborate. This role is requires 8:30-5:30 availability and is primarily remote, with Wednesdays in the office for team work.
This is a 6-month contract position. Depending on business need and overall performance, there is an opportunity for this position to become a full-time employment opportunity.
