The Assistant Manager will work closely with store leadership to simultaneously drive store sales while managing smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Uphold luxury level of retail client experience standards to meet our client needs from sales to in-house services
• Oversee daily operations including meeting the demands of a retail schedule, closing sales, handling repair intake, seeing repairs and customer jobs through from initiation to delivery, providing professional knowledge of fine jewelry design and trends, handling staff supervision and coaching, and ensuring high-quality customer communications at every step of the sale, repair, return or custom project
• Accurately record and maintain inventory as well as monitor inventory trends and performance to maximize sales
• Act as a professional representative of the brand to handle vendor inquiries, purchases, and communications
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes heightening the client experience, retention, and can explore and execute avenues that will continue to grow the business creatively
• Assist store leadership in event coordination on-site and off-site to further promote the brand and sales
• Participate in continued education, expanding product knowledge and ability to train associates on sales mechanics, product and brand knowledge
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store environment, in front-of-house and back office/bench area
• Ability to operate and/or learn the the Edge POS software as well as other platforms used to communicate with clients and engage in sales (social media, web)

Qualifications

• Prior fine jewelry sales experience is highly preferred.
• Management/Supervision experience of at least 1 year required along with a proven track record of growing sales in a luxury industry.
• Knowledge of jewelry making, repair/bench work, or CAD is preferred.
• Completion of relevant college degree or gemological diploma, highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
