SkyBreak Therapy is an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Boise that is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join the team and support families on-site and in-home! We believe in creating a brighter future for each child and need someone who can help in this vision.

We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, caring and supportive to each child and their needs.

Job Summary:

Overall, you will develop and oversee behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues, primarily focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies. The BCBA will conduct assessments, design and implement treatment plans, supervise ABA therapy sessions, and provide training to staff and caregivers. This role requires a strong commitment to improving clients’ quality of life through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Assessment and Analysis:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and inform treatment planning. 
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation:
  • Create and implement ABA programs tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and data analysis.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques to address challenging behaviors and teach new skills.
  • Supervision and Training:
  • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff as requested and growth occurs.
  • Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices.
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Oversee the collection of behavioral data and maintain accurate records.
  • Analyze data to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate regularly with clients’ families to provide updates and support.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences, as needed

Compliance and Ethics:

  • Adhere to all relevant ethical guidelines and professional standards.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
  • Stay informed of and comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field

Certification: Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in ABA preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with autism and or those with developmental disabilities
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.

Job Type: Part-time / PRN

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits, starting at $33 dollars per hour and up depending on experience.
