SkyBreak Therapy is an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Boise that is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist or SLP-CF to join the team! We believe in creating a brighter future for each child and need someone who can help in this vision.

We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, caring and supportive to each child and their needs.

What you’ll do:

• Manage a caseload as clients continue to be referred to SkyBreak Therapy.
• Provides Speech Therapy services to clients and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech Therapy Department procedures.
• Conducts screenings of clients at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Evaluates clients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to family and other professionals.
• Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
• Coordinates treatment plan for client and provides copies for family and other professionals.
• Implements and conducts treatment plan as outlined in treatment plan.
• Monitors client’s response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
• Documents results of clients’ assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services.
• Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the client.
• Recommends and obtains appropriate equipment to improve client’s communication. Instructs client and family in use of augmentative communication devices.
• Instructs client and family in appropriate speech-language procedures or home program to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Participates in client, family, and staff education.

What you’ll bring:

• A love for helping kids
• Pediatric therapy experience, Ideally more than 1 year.
• A Master’s Degree
• Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language-Hearing from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Must be licensed in the state of Idaho.
• Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members and other facility personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Report to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned work hours.
• Project a positive and professional image at all times.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / PRN

Compensation: Generous paid salary and benefits, starting at 27-48 per hour, depending on experience.
