OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician with expertise in wire routing, continuity testing, and crimping. The ideal candidate will perform a diverse range of responsibilities in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical domains. Key duties include constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Execute wire routing procedures with precision, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
• Conduct continuity testing to ensure optimal functionality and reliability of electrical connections.
• Proficiently perform crimping techniques for secure and durable wire connections.
• Interpret and work from schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions.
• Operate specialized equipment, conduct tests, and document results in prescribed formats.
• Conduct calibration and alignment checks, making necessary adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions as part of maintenance and repair tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-4 years of aviation experience wire routing, continuity testing, and crimping.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to avionics systems.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools, equipment, and testing instruments used in avionics maintenance and repair.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electronic and mechanical issues.
• Proficiency in interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and documentation.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must pass a standard DOT drug test, criminal background check, and general physical.
• Must be a US Citizen
• NO tools required, all tools will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
