About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems, coupled with extensive experience in aircraft integration. As a pivotal member of our engineering team in Stennis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of various aircraft systems, optimizing performance, functionality, and safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Aircraft System Integration: Lead the integration efforts of mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems into aircraft platforms, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.

2. Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine integration strategies, incorporating industry best practices and innovative solutions.

3. Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements and specifications to inform integration processes, identifying potential conflicts and proposing mitigation strategies.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Generate detailed documentation of integration processes, test results, and performance evaluations, maintaining accurate records and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.

7. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives across integration workflows.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft integration or a closely related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and leadership.

3. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, and avionics components. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) is essential.

4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex integration issues and develop effective solutions.

5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.

6. Team Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

7. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work within established timelines.

8. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving project requirements.
