We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading therapeutic group sessions and providing support to individuals in need.
Duties:
- Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate discussions on various topics related to mental health, addiction recovery, and personal growth
- Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences and emotions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of group sessions
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary and refer individuals to appropriate resources for additional support
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote positive change and personal development
- Incorporate art therapy, behavioral therapy, and other modalities into group sessions as appropriate
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting or addiction treatment center
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and best practices in the field
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse populations
- Empathetic nature with the ability to build rapport with patients and create a non-judgmental atmosphere
