We are looking for an experience, reliable, and organized maintenance person to help take care of a medium sized residential condo building in the Chicago South Loop. REQUIRED SKILLS:

• General maintenance skills
• General understanding of building systems
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Minor Drywall repair and touch up painting
• Basic computer skills (Send emails, texts, comp documents)
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Must live within 30-45 minutes of building (Low traffic times)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform weekly building inspections
• Take care of assigned work orders
• Communicate with and assist property manager
• Schedule and assists vendors and other service personnel
• Direct janitorial staff
• Order supplies and maintain inventory
• Assist with janitorial duties and projects
• Pressure washing
• Carpet Cleaning
• Door closer and lock adjustments or replacement
• Replace light bulbs
• Maintain emergency signs and lighting
• Snow removal
• Emergency calls

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday (8AM - 4:30PM)
• On call for emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
