Our New Teammate

Our new teammate will join a fantastic engineering team that lead the planning, design, engineering, configuration, and implementation of inside-plant (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) solutions for our clients.

You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:

• 90% of the time on Objective 1: Engineering Solutions
• 10% of the time on Objective 2: Internal Task Management and Support

Job Responsibilities – What to Expect

• All aspects involving underground, aerial, inside plant, and backbone engineering
• Create high-level engineering plans 
• Present proposed engineering plans to customers
• Generate SOW’s and BOM’s 
• Request quotes from contractors
• Request material quotes from suppliers
• Determine internal labor requirements for construction, inspection, splicing, and engineering
• Attend customer meetings to provide recommendations
• Attend RFP pre-bid meetings

Your Knowledge & Expertise

• 5 years Infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of Outside and Inside Plant Construction
  • Fiber construction (aerial and underground)
  • Fiber splicing
  • Engineering
  • Inspection
  • Structured cabling
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio
