We are hiring for more than just a Sales and Business Development pro. Yes, your primary focus will be growing our inventory of short-term vacation rental homes in the area. But, you'll have the chance to do much more than just sales. You'll start with selling our full-service vacation rental management services to homeowners while expanding the SkyRun brand throughout the territory. We are also looking for someone that wants to be a partner to the business, provide strategic insights and execute on growth and operations while carving their own career path. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only drive revenue growth but also shape the future direction of the business through strategic insights and collaborative efforts across various functions. This is a critical role and you'll need a lot of different skills to be successful, including: Researching and reaching out to qualified, targeted homeowners/investors. Researching our local and national competitors. Understanding local regulations. Working with REALTORS and other referral sources. Attending various network events. Creating attention-grabbing, customized mail and email campaigns to potential clients. Cold calling leads. Setting meetings and managing the entire sales process from first contact to close; and Getting new homes live in our systems. You'll work directly with SkyRun leadership team to grow the business and manage your career goals. Revenue and Marketing-Revenue Growth, shape strategic direction and make a meaningful impact: Pricing Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behavior to optimize pricing decisions and maximize revenue. Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data and forecasting techniques to accurately predict demand patterns, enabling proactive adjustments to pricing and inventory strategies. Revenue Optimization: Implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional initiatives to capitalize on demand fluctuations and maximize revenue potential across various products and services. Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of revenue management strategies and identify areas for improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with homeowners, sales, marketing, finance, and other relevant departments to align revenue management efforts with overall business objectives and strategies. To be successful you'll need to have most, if not all, of these attributes: Knowledge of the vacation rental and hospitality industry. Ability to advise and consult with savvy vacation homeowners to build the foundation of a long-term relationship. A track record of sales success and quota or over quota attainment. Strong communication skills while being comfortable contacting leads by phone, email, in-person, and over video conference. Strong moral compass with a win/win approach to business dealings. Most importantly, you'll want to be gregarious and outgoing while being self-motivated, coachable, curious and reliable. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in revenue management to continuously optimize strategies and processes. Daily Responsibilities:
To be sure, each day is likely to be different, rewarding and exciting. But, in general here's what you'll be doing to grow the inventory of vacation rentals. Quickly follow up on all in-bound leads and proactively hunt for new sales opportunities through tele-sales, video conferencing, and in-person meetings. Identify and attend various networking events to grow and promote the SkyRun brand throughout the territory. Add new inventory to the portfolio of homes. Work closely with local operations and support staff to ensure owner satisfaction. Become an expert in all things SkyRun to be a trusted resource to our homeowners. Keep our CRM systems updated with your interactions and activities. Skills and Other Things You’ll Need: Ability to close sales from self-generated and inbound leads. Ability to build trust with prospects and provide in-depth knowledge about SkyRun's approach versus alternatives to meet and exceed client goals. Strong computer skills including G Suite and a strong desire and aptitude for learning new things. Professional communication skills including voice, text and email. Some experience with social media marketing preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Track record of achieving sales quotas. Self-motivation, a "can do" attitude and a growth mindset. Experience with real estate or short-term property management a plus, but not required. Where and how you'll be working: The ideal candidate will reside in or near Breckenridge, Colorado. You'll be expected to travel to prospect homes as/if needed, join networking groups and attend scheduled and ad hoc meetings with your leader from time to time. But, we are not a meeting driven organization. Results are key and your success is based upon your ability to bring in new business. Occasional offsite meetings may be required from time to time and this role does require frequent use of computers, phones, handheld devices and other office equipment. Work hours may vary and occasional after hours or weekends calls may be required to meet the demands of prospective clients. But...it's ultimately your decision on how, when and if to work beyond "standard" office hours. How you'll be paid. Base salary of $55,000 - $70,000 (DOE). Uncapped commissions. What You’ll Get?
