SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in the Southeast metro to find an Electrical Engineer II for their team! The Electrical Engineer II will be responsible for designing, developing & implementing the electrical parts & components for new & existing products. Our client is a successful small business who manufactures custom machines for customers across a variety of industries. The Electrical Engineer II will work on a variety of projects and will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on our client’s business. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement electrical parts & components on projects.
• Plan, develop and execute testing of products to verify reliability & performance.
• Work directly with clients & internal engineering teams on custom machinery projects.
• Assist with developing PLC & HMI programs.
• Other duties or projects as assigned.

Desired Skills And Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in an Electrical, Controls, Automation or similar engineering position (or combination of positions).
• Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
• Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
