This role will involve you to develop the most sophisticated RF front end module through Skyworks technical networks with collaborations with expert teams among all Skyworks design centers across the US and Japan. Overtime this position has potential to advance from individual contributor to key leader who will own and execute critical portion of our product developments. The qualified candidate needs to be a self-driven, committed team player and possess a full understanding of electromagnetics and RF circuits with details shown below.
DescriptionResponsibilities:
Adapting and developing best MCM design and full module co-simulation practices.
Designing customized semi-lumped RF matching networks, couplers, and biasing networks for RF frontend transmitting and receiving circuits with Power Amplifiers(PA) and Low Noise Amplifiers(LNA).
Designing multiplexing networks and filters with acoustic resonators(SAW&BAW), Integrated Passive devices(IPD), and Surface Mounted Devices(SMD).
Designing high-isolation laminate layouts to meet high density component module and able to meet stringent requirements such as de-sense, RF leakage, and harmonics.
Participating and conducting design review meeting.
Performing lab testing and tuning and using various RF test equipment.

Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook.
Experiences of EM tools such as HFSS, or Momentum.
Lab experiences of network analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer and probe station.
Knowledge of HBT, FET, CMOS devices.
Knowledge of RF switch design, or power amplifier design, or PA classes, PAE, PA performance.
Knowledge of communication standards, such as LTE-A, WiFi, and the associated standards requirements on such as sensitivity, intermodulation, de-sense, ACLR, EVM".
Relevant courses: RF/Microwave Engineering, RF circuit design, RF Principles and Applications, RF System Design for wireless systems, Signals and Systems, RFIC design, Antenna Theory and Design.
Preferred Experience And SkillsExperience in ADS, Virtuoso, and Allegro.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $74,800 - $135,400 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
